Welcome to the New Site
Kevin Salwen on In the News

When we created Worthwhilemag.com in Spring 2004, candidly it was something of an afterthought -- our soon-to-be-launched print magazine was our primary focus and the Web was little more than a fun place to blog and connect with readers between issues. But a funny thing happened that we hadn't expected: Our site became a place for the Worthwhile community to gather, engage and discuss. And it grew and grew. In fact, without us spending a cent on marketing or promotion, more than 200,000 unique visitors now are coming to the site each month. Wow.

People wanted to meet us -- and each other. They wanted to be inspired. They wanted to share what they knew. They wanted to connect to Work with Purpose Passion and Profit -- to learn more about Capitalism With Humanity.

We realized that we had the opportunity to really create something exciting. So, welcome to worthwhilemag.com v2. Here you'll find that we're beginning to build a deeper, more dynamic site -- a resource for people who believe that work can be a place of passion and purpose, that careers can stand for more than a paycheck, that enlightened leadership is the future.

On worthwhilemag.com, you'll still find our group blog (you're reading it now), but you'll also discover much more content from the print pages of the magazine. And we're most excited about the Dialogue feature, in which you can begin talking to each other without us being in the middle. As we build it out, it will become a massive Social Network for passionate adults -- a place where you can share and grow.

How can you participate? Jump into the conversation. Share your views, teach others, comment, disagree, analyze.  It's your chance to voice your ideas. Welcome again to Worthwhile.
