Today's Thought: Watch That Clock!
Anita Sharpe on Life

'A leader has control of his time and develops a personal rhythm in his life. He knows how much rest he needs, how much study he needs, how much recreation he needs, how much exercise he needs, and how much prayer he needs to keep his cup filled to overflowing for others.

'A leader budgets his time well in advance for priority things. My dad would let nothing interfere with his fishing on Thursday afternoon, and woe be unto the person who tried to schedule a meeting on the Sabbath. It is axiomatic that the things most essential -- family, recreation, study, exercise and spiritual renewal -- don't cry out if we neglect them but will take their toll over time when neglected. It is also axiomatic that unseized time flows to weaknesses. We often spend most of our time on things that we do second best and neglect those things that we do best.' -- William B. Turner (from A Journey Toward Servant Leadership)
