True words indeed. I returned Tuesday from a 'throw-caution-to-the-wind' weekend in Texas and this quote put a sly little grin on my face. Thank you!

Jeffrey,

It's from 'Still Life With Woodpecker,' which is full of great lines such as, 'Those who shun the whimsy of things will experience rigor mortis before death.'

Do you have the actual source publication for this quote?

Wonderful quote. Thanks for sharing.

'Can we work outside today?'
- next cubicle over,
after I read the quote to him

Thanks Tom and Anita. A thought provoking quote to start my day !

I do feel the need to add ETHICAL and EMPATHIC to the list of necessary ingredients to the orientation, advancement and indeed the very definition of humanity.

Love your work. Eager to see the magazine.
