What Former GM exec said this?
Anita Sharpe on Business

'We don't make cars, we make money.'

It was in the 1970s, while GM and the other U.S. car makers were still cranking out giant sedans (the '70s version of today's Suburbans). To me, that comment was the beginning of the end; well, if not the end, certainly the beginning of what led to this week's devastating loss at GM.

Does anyone remember that comment and who said it? Either way, doesn't it speak to what happens when the focus of any business turns more to the bottom line than creating a product customers want?
