Calling All Smart Women
Kevin Salwen on Creativity
I have been a fan of Nancy Solomon's work since I met her more than a year ago. A coach and speaker, Nancy understands women and leadership better than just about anyone I know. That's why she keeps getting hired by Microsoft, Safeco Insurance and a bunch of other companies to teach happiness, purpose and the real meaning of value.
So, the other day, she sent me her new CD set, called 'It's All About the Shoes, An Invitation for Women to Step into Leadership.' Needless to say, I ain't the target market, given my serious gender issues. And she didn't ask me to write anything about her.
But I listened anyway. In short, this is great stuff -- from Nancy's personal stories of learning the basics of success from her 'grammy' to the more spiritual explanations of why women are better positioned for leadership than men. It's smart and easy to absorb -- both things that make for the best advice titles.
Congrats to Nancy on a terrific addition to the 'careers-with-meaning' arena.
