$100,000 for Making a Difference
Anita Sharpe on Making a Difference

What a cool idea! A San Francisco non-profit called Civic Ventures is looking for people 60 and older who are making a difference in their communities. Calling its program the 'Purpose Prize,' the group will award $100,000 beginning in June to each of five winning social entrepreneurs. Civic Ventures will start taking applications Thursday; nominations can be submitted at www.LeadWithExperience.org.
